Mazi JC Nwankwo has several degrees including BSc. in (Statistics) and MA in Administration, Operation/Management and Computer Science.

He is admitted into fellowship of different institutes such as ==> Fellow (Chartered Institute of Logistic and Transport, London) Cilt, Railway Operation and Management (Pakistan), Railway administration (China)

JC Nwankwo currently directs the Jannix Jazzville conglomerate and also an independent consultant for many establishments around the world. He had his undergraduate degree from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria. He proceeded to the UK for graduate studies at the British Railway Management Program Center and Chartered institute of logistic & transport (London), Railway Operation and Management (Pakistan), Railway Administration (China) He also served in different committees as: - Chairman, railway trade fair committee, member, editorial board; chattered institute of logistic & transport (Nigeria), transport magazine. Mazi Nwankwo earned several awards == > merit award winner 1990 (best railway operation and commercial man of the year). Letter of commendation for exhibiting managerial skills (1996), from the honorable minister of transport. Letter of commendation for operating high quality train services (1999) by the honorable minister of transport.

Foreign missions on railway business took him to: - Union of African railways in (Cameroun, Abuja, Congo Brazzaville, Ghana, Gabon, Cote D’Ivoire, South-Africa, Angola, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tunis, Algeria & Tanzania),

Then, USA (Las Vegas, Washington DC, & New York, Erie (Pennsylvania)), New Zealand (international union of railways; UIC), Holland, Luxemburg, Italy, United Kingdom (London, Southampton), Paris (UIC), Hong Kong, China (Beijing, Tianjin, Shenyang, Quintal, Shanghai, Dalian), South Korea, India, Canada & Dubai.

Built back confidence in NRC’s traditional customers, designed a one-on-one intervention in matters concerning the customers’ reaction to service delivery, introduced the Adio to Bodija intra-city rail mass transit in Ibadan metropolis, developed the “rail-tracker software” for NRC, made control staff computer literate, Updated the Digital e-books of five important Railway rule books (Railway ACT, Operational General Rule book, Working Instruction, Block Telegraph Regulations, Manual of Accounts and Tariff No 12).

He also Programmed the successful General Electric locomotive project, Sensitized federal Gov, state governments and companies into investing to revitalize NRC through infrastructural developments, Secured MOU from some companies and State Governments for partnerships in Rail infrastructural developments (Lagos, Cross-Rivers, Kaduna States); Rivers & Delta States in the making, Secured the position of Vice Present (West Africa) in the Union of African Railways, Raised the standard in NRC’s industrial clinics resulting to their being admitted into the Federal Government’s national health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Computerization of NRC Pension records, Sensitized the Federal Government of Nigeria on rail infrastructural development and the need for making budgetary provisions, Ensured training programs (locally and overseas) for railway staff, and Installed the electronic library in NRC.

Mazi J.C. Nwankwo is happily married to Lady Janet Nwankwo and they are blessed with three beautiful girls (now young ladies).
